UC Accessibility Resources
The University of Cincinnati's Accessibility Resources office is your starting point for academic accommodations. If you have a disability that may influence your performance in a course, including visual, hearing, physical, or communication impairments, or a specific learning disability, Accessibility Resources works with you to arrange reasonable accommodations and ensure you have an equitable opportunity to meet course requirements.

Ready to get started? Registering for accommodations through UC Accommodate is the first step. The process is straightforward and confidential, and the Accessibility Resources office is available to guide you through it.
Assistive Technology at UC
Accommodations aren't the only way to make your coursework more accessible. UC also provides a range of assistive technology you can start using right away, including tools for reading, writing, math, and screen magnification.
Options include Read&Write, OrbitNote, Equatio, and JAWS/ZoomText, among others, many of which are available to all current students at no cost.
EIT Accessibility Policy
The purpose of the EIT Accessibility Policy is to define the accessibility requirements for the university’s electronic resources and content, including websites, electronic files, digital course content, and software/applications. This policy includes information on the technical standards and guidelines adopted by the institution and describes electronic accessibility roles and responsibilities of faculty and staff at the University of Cincinnati.
Policies and Grievance Procedures – The University of Cincinnati has adopted the following Grievance Procedure for addressing complaints of discrimination under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of l 990.
