Why Earn Your Bachelor's in Professional Studies with a Focus in Fire Administration?

We believe that learning happens on the jobsite, therefore, within the Fire Admin track, students are given the opportunity to earn credit for previous work experience. Through the leadership focused coursework, the Fire Administration track prepares students to achieve leadership opportunities within the Fire Industry. However, graduates may also consider careers outside of fire service, such as in government or public administration.

Students interested in adding this focus while earning their bachelor’s degree in professional studies will have dedicated curriculum to enhance their skills in leadership, to address challenges, and prepare them for careers across the fire industry as well as other emergency services organizations. Students will need to meet the admission requirements for the Bachelor’s in Professional Studies program, and they are also required to have a minimum of four years fire-industry experience.
This track is transfer-credit-friendly, and prior work experience can count as credits toward the program upon review.
